Windows
To install a printer that is on the print server on a Windows computer, follow these steps.
1. Open up the start menu and type either:
\\fg-print for Forest Grove printers
-or-
\\hills-print for Hillsboro printers
2. Click the enter key on your keyboard to run the command
3. You should see a list of all the printers available on your campus in a windows file explorer popup
4. Scroll through the list and double-click on the printer you want installed.
Mac
To install a printer that is on the print server on a Mac computer, follow these steps.
1. Go to your Applications folder or the launchpad and choose "Pacific Self Service."
2. Go to the printers tab for either Forest Grove or Hillsboro and click Install on the printer you need.
3. Let the printer install, once it's complete you should be able to use the selected printer to print.
Printers Not Listed
If the desired printer is not in the list of printers contact the Helpdesk and we can manually install the printer on your computer.
