This article explains how to share your Google mail account and your Google calendar.

Sharing Your Boxer Mail Mailbox

Sharing your Gmail with another account is best done by giving delegate access. To give delegate access follow the steps below or the Google Support Article at the bottom.

  • First log in to your Pacific University Gmail account on the Boxer Mail web interface.
  • Go to All Settings from the cog wheel at the top.
  • Under the "Accounts" section of your settings go to "Grant access to your account" and click "Add another account"
  • Put in the email of the person you want to be your delegate.
  • They will get an email to give confirmation of accepting access.
  • Lastly once they have confirmed the delegate permissions may take up to 24 hours to take full effect.

Once access is granted, the email can be checked by click on your profile icon in the top right and switching to the delegate accessed email account.

Sharing Your Google Calendar

  • First log in to your Google account on the web and go to your calendar.
  • Hover over the calendar you want to share and click the 3 dots and choose "Settings and sharing".
  • Once in the settings page, scroll down to the section labeled "Share with specific people"
  • Here you can add people and select their permission level to view your calendar.
