The UIS project request system behaves differently from normal ticket submission, requiring a final step of review and submission before UIS is able to review a project. After submitting the form you are given the opportunity to Review and Submit, but some miss this step because this screen is similar to the final screen of submitting a help ticket. If you have not gotten confirmation that your project request was submitted, you may need to do the following procedure.
Prerequisites
Do this procedure only after you have filled out the Step Two: Project Request Form in the UIS Project/Partnership/Integration and have saved your filled-out form.
Procedure
- Go to the Services Portal main page.
- Make sure you are logged in as yourself. You will see your name in the upper right if you are logged in. Otherwise you will see "Sign In."
- Click on the My Tickets button in the bottom left.
- Click on Project Requests in the top (grey colored) bar.
- You should see your un-submitted project in the list. The status column will show "Not Submitted." Click on the name of the project request.
- Click the red "Submit" button and click "OK" to officially submit the project request for UIS consideration.
- (Optional) If you return to the Project Requests list you'll see the project request is still there but with a different status (e.g. "Score Scorecard") rather than "Not Submitted."
