Description

Healthcare Clinic Information Technology, a division of University Information Services, supports desktop and laptop computing technologies throughout Pacific University's healthcare clinics. HCIT's primary objective is provide reliable, consistent experiences with computers and peripherals. It is their top priority to address any problem or equipment failure that impacts patient care or education.

UIS Support Level

Fully Supported.  Priority is given to support requests that impede clinical operations, patient care, and student education. Due to service area, whenever possible remote support technologies will be utilized for fastest response and resolution. Covered peripheral technologies include monitors, keyboard, mice, input devices, credit card terminals, card readers, webcams, scanners. Printing and multifunction copier devices are partially supported and include only minimal "best effort" for hardware issues.

Specialty software, applications, and peripherals may be partially supported by HCIT/UIS or fully supported by the department.
