How To Use Apporto's Cloud Mounter

Students and Faculty can use Apporto's Cloud Mounter to work with cloud storage services such as Google Drive and Box. Cloud Mounter adds your cloud storage to the File Explorer similarly to Box Drive.

Procedure

Apporto supports connections to cloud storage on multiple platforms. 

Google Drive

  1. Launch Cloud Mounter from the desktop
  2. Select Google Drive from the Start a New Connection list
  3. Accept the default options.
  4. Click Connect Now

  5. Sign into Google using your Pacific University account.
  6. Choose Allow to give Apporto Cloud Mounter access to your account.

  7. Check that your Google account is now listed under Existing Connections.

Box

  1. Launch Cloud Mounter from the desktop
  2. Select Box Drive from the Start a New Connection list
  3. Accept the default options
  4. Click Connect Now

  5. Click the blue Use Single Sign On (SSO) link.
    The link to click for SSO logins.
  6. Sign into Box using your Pacific University account.
  7. Click Grant access to Box to give Apporto Cloud Mounter access to your account.

  8. Check that your Box account is now listed under Existing Connections.
