Prerequisites
Must be a current student or employee of Pacific University
Procedure
- Start by joining the Boxer Connect wifi or use an existing connection to the Internet.
- go to https://boxerconnect.pacificu.edu (you should be automatically directed to this site while on Boxer Connect wifi)
- Click the start button, then the link for a Pacific University Account.
- Enter your PUNetID and password.
- Continue through the prompts until you reach the point where it asks to register either "This Device" or "Another Device."
- Select the "Another Device" option. This is for game consoles, consumer devices, or anything that does not work with certificate-based (EAP-TLS) authentication. This can be the device you’re currently using to connect to the Boxer Connect wifi or a different device.
- After you select "Another Device," you will need to enter the hardware MAC address of your wireless network adapter (wifi MAC address) to register the device. After registering the MAC address, you will see a prompt with wif login info, the wifi name (Boxer Legacy) and the password to join.
